Everyone was able to make it to the cabin this year and the group is expanding - literally.  We hung out at the cabin; visited ol’ Cle Elum for the Pioneer Days parade where we saw kids (including our own) attack candy thrown onto the streets by the parade floats like piranhas to a carcass of meat in the Amazon; played cards; watched Booty and the Beast (multiple times); came up with GREAT kids books ideas; gorged ourselves on the all you can eat Fireman’s pancake feed.  I stayed an extra night as I got to play charity corporate golf (it doesn’t get any better) at Suncadia’s Tumble Creek with my old co-workers.  Our guest celebrity was no other than Damon Huard of UW quarterback fame during my college years.  Great times, not great scores, were had.
